The Township levies an Earned Income Tax (EIT) on its residents and all non-residents who work in the Township.
The Earned Income Tax (EIT) rate for the Township is set at 1% on the earned income of Township residents, regardless of where they work. Tax collected is distributed equally between the Township and the West Allegheny School District.
Act 32 of 2008 provides for earned income taxes to be withheld by employers and remitted to an appointed tax collector on your behalf. All municipalities in Pennsylvania are part of a Tax Collection District (TCD). North Fayette Township is located in the Allegheny County Southwest TCD and local earned income taxes are collected by Jordan Tax Services. The PSD Code for the Township is 731802.
